An Introduction
Hello everyone, Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Scott Zimmer and I recently retired from the US Border Patrol after 26.5 years of service. I was stationed in San Diego, California at the Brown Field Station for my whole career but worked at seven other stations during my career. I started with the US Border Patrol on 7/29/1996 under the Clinton administration. Throughout my career, I did numerous details to help train and improve the fine Agents of the USBP. I was promoted to Supervisory Border Patrol Agent on 7/22/2007 a role I held until my retirement on 12/31/2022. Enough about me though, I am here to help the American public understand just how illegal immigration impacts EVERYONES lives even if you do not live in a border town.
